Toodyay Wine Festival 2008

I just wanted to pass on my sincere thanks and appreciation to all the dancers, musicians and all performers - beit on or off stage - for their efforts and energies on Saturday.

It was a real pleasure to involve you with this year's Toodyay International Food Festival and I really look forward to involving you again in Toodyay, and at other events, whenever possible.

The general feeling and initial feedback is that this year's concert was the biggest and the best - thanks in no small part of course to all your tremendous performances - and seeing this event is only in its 4th year, we can only see this event growing and growing.

I hope you all felt welcome and looked after - and again, as the person responsible for organising and scheduling the performances (for the 1st time), I personally thank you all for a job well done.

On behalf of the Board and members of the Rotary Club of Fremantle City I would like to extend to you my heartfelt thanks to you, Jenny and all of the WASAMBA musicians, for your generous contribution of time and performance at the inaugural Fremantle Seafood Celebration on 8 February 2004.

The contribution of WASAMBA to the opening parade was outstanding. It provided a very colourful and joyful start to our entertainment programme.

The fact that so many people volunteered on the day enabled us to maximise the fundraising and we will make a donation to the Fremantle Hospital Medical Research Foundation.

Our club intends to make this event our major annual fundraiser and we hope you will consider being involved again in the future.

Please thank all of the members of the group for taking the time out to take part in our community Festival. Everyone has been absolutely raving about WASAMBA!! You were definitely the crowd favourite! I have even received a query from Carnarvon about your performance. The positive feedback from the Festival as a whole has been astounding. More than 10000 people attended the Festival and everyone has been saying it was the best ever! Once again thank you for your involvement in the 2003 Larry Lobster Festival! I will forward copies of all media featuring WASAMBA!! to you as soon as possible. I missed the Blessing of the Fleet on Sunday morning but when I arrived back in Dongara - just in time for the rope coiling competition - every second person I talked to mentioned your performance on the boat.
